The Medical
Decision Company.
MedExpert provides every individual with current, unbiased, and accurate information to make the most appropriate medical and health decisions. For every man, woman, and child — better information, better decisions, better outcomes.
Conflict-free
by design.
MedExpert has no financial ties to any organizations that could influence patient decisions for financial purposes — no arrangements with pharmaceutical companies, provider groups, or hospitals that could present a conflict of interest. The advice we deliver to members serves them, not a vendor.
A decade
of engineering.
MedExpert invested more than a decade engineering evidence-based medicine into a platform that can cost-effectively deliver decision support, navigation, and data-analytic services — all incorporating 100% of a payer's data sources in near real time. The result: a Healthcare Decision System unlike anything else in the market.
MedExpert Visionaries.
MedExpert is shaped by a remarkable team of leaders from healthcare, health policy, engineering, artificial intelligence, and business — each playing a pivotal role in building MedExpert's AI-driven, evidence-based decision systems and grounding them in patient-first principles.

A member of the National Academy of Engineering, Dr. Smarr brought engineering and informatics expertise that ensured MedExpert's technology would be efficient, scalable, and built for healthcare's complexity.
Peter Szolovits, PhD
Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at MIT and head of the Clinical Decision-Making Group within the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. A world authority and pioneer in medical AI, Dr. Szolovits led the field toward reasoning about disease mechanisms, temporal evolution, and model-based clinical inference. He is a member of the National Academy of Medicine and a fellow of multiple AI and informatics academies.
Brian Biles, MD, MPH
Professor and Emeritus Chair of the Department of Health Services Management and Policy at George Washington University.
